I thought the lip jewellery demanded something dramatic in terms of the post-production… hover with your mouse to see the before rollover.

Just a plain vanilla beauty clean-up. Tried to keep this as natural and transparent as possible. Hover to see the original.

A beautiful girl against a beautiful sunset. Lots of work removing cables, houses etc. Remember to hover to see the before.

My aim with this photo was to create a really old-school glamour feel. This one took about an hour but only because of cleaning up the hair on her neck and chest. Hair always takes forever. Remember to hover to see the before.

I wanted a grungy look for this fun portrait of Vicki Blatchley. It won’t be to everyone’s tastes but it’s a popular look for bands at the moment. This took about half an hour. Hover to see the before

FWIW a French manicure is a lot easier to do digitally than in real life ;-\
In this retouch I cleaned/retouched up the skin (without damaging or reducing the texture, I hope you can see at this resolution), got rid of the horrible lipliner, gave our model a French manicure (hey why not?) and added a murky cloud (genuine) background. I also tidied up the hair, got rid of some mascara globs, gave the skin a glow and whitened it slightly as the model was quite orange, brightened up her eyes (not too much as she already has coloured lenses in) and “plucked” her eyebrows a little. The whole job took about 2 hours.
